Review summary

Cruise was wonderful until the last night. I purchased a picture of my family from 7/5/24 and when I picked it up I also had wallets. The wallets made it into the envelope but the 8x10 didn't and now I've no where to find that once in a lifetime photo of my entire family. They said it couldn't be digital because it was on the stair case... but ruined my entire trip... I hope someone can find it and send to to me. Again 7/5/24 picture was taken on the ship stairs... I saw the picture but it wasn't put into the envelope when I got home.

Embarkation

Easy, fast and friendly staff

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was wonderful, drinks were plentiful on the Cheers package....

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn't know that children in diapers were not allowed in pools, or on splash pad. This was very upsetting as our ship had 3 sea days... with nothing for them to do to cool off

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedy was good, shows were okay,

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service once we were allowed to move to the Vista dining room. Horizon was less that sub par... but in Vista we had Yasa and his team and they were outstanding....!!! I can't say enough about this team. Service was above and beyond what we've had on Carnival and all the other cruises we've taken.... OUTSTANDING! Thank you Tara, Dewa and Decter... !

Ship Quality

Very clean ship... but very hot on the 5th floor

Ship tip

Ask for the Vista dining room, bring a portable fan

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Been here so many times and really don't like this port. Ocean is not swimmable...

La Paz, Mexico

Excellent! Will go back... loved that Carnival had shuttle to the town and back. This was really nice. Favorite port

Mazatlan, Mexico

We did our own tour and loved it - Went to Stone Island... spent the day. Pay 1/2 of what Carnival wanted for the same...

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Did the Carnival Relax, Beach, Lunch and it was excellent. The pool didn't have enough chairs... would be my only complaint. Food was good... service was good.

Disembarkation

Fast and easy... made our flight out of LAX which I'm glad we booked because Long Beach was a nightmare from what I'm told

Also a lot of great info, including the rules for non potty trained children, is all posted right on Carnival's website. Check the FAQ section. I read it over and over before my first cruise so there were no surprises. 😉

You definitely did have high’s and low’s on your cruise. Thank you for your review.

Sorry about the loss of your photo. No one wants to share water with kids who have waterlogged diapers. If the absorbency is gone where is the pee going?
