Good value! The Panorama is a nice ship with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment options.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was fairly easy and painless. The baggage handlers and everyone working in the port terminal were pleasant and efficent. I removed 1 star because parking was a nightmare. It took nearly 90 minutes to park at the port. The member of our party with the vehicle was sent off site to a garage that quickly filled up and was then sent back to the cruise terminal to park. It was a giant run around and at $20 per day ($140 total) I would expect it to be better handled.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall the food was great. We mostly ate at the small restaurants and main dining room. My only issue is that while they were completely able to accommodate my special doctor directed diet, it took me two days of sailing to figure out where to go. The ChefMate booth was only open during certain hours and that made it so that I had to plan my day and activities around dinner orders. I took away 1 star because ChefMate was so cumbersome. We tried the specialty teppanyaki restaurant and it was AWESOME. The Chef and servers were absolutely great and the food was delicious. Certainly worth the up charge. I do not drink alcohol but still enjoy a fruity beverage or mocktail. The Alchemy bar has a full mocktail menu with NA spirits and and many bars, such as the one in the Havana Club, had featured NA mocktails. They were all DELICIOUS!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The rope course is very scary but also a lot of fun. We had spa class cabins and really enjoyed the spa. I wish they had a cold room in the spa but that is just my preference. The spa attendants kept the area neat and tidy and there were ALWAYS fresh towels. I took away 1 star because bingo was not great. I would rate the bingo experience -10 stars if I could. It took nearly 3 hours to play 3 rounds of bingo, and as a Las Vegas citizen, I was mortified and angered. And the bingo guy (TyTy) just kept talking about himself instead of moving the game along.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We really enjoyed all of the dance shows and the comedians. Summer of '69 and Soulbound were AMAZING! The welcome show was meh but still fun. We really enjoyed DJ KZ, the band at the Havana Club, the atrium string and singing performers. DJ OTS we did not enjoy.

Children's Programs

We did not have children with us.

Very nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin is small but comfortable. The steward did a great job keeping it nice. The beds and pillows were super cozy. The towels were also very nice.

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
No excursions. It's ok.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
It was very nice! We went snorkling, did a boat tour of Cabo, and also took a bike tour of downtown.

Ensenada, Mexico

Not much to do within walking distance or if you wake up late.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and quick.
