Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We were pleasantly surprised with Carnival's gluten free selections. Not only was gluten free available in the main dining room, but each quick serve restaurant had options as well such as GF buns at Guys Burger Bar, corn tortillas at Blue Iguana, GF bread at the Deli, and GF pizza crust at Pizzaria del Capitano. Our waiter in the MDR remembered each night that I needed gluten free and was quick to grab gf bread and make sure I made proper choices off the menu. I was really impressed.

Onboard Activities

We stayed in the Havana area and I am pretty sure we will always cruise this way from now on. However we also enjoyed the Piano Bar, Trivia, and entertainment.

Service and Staff

Top notch service on the Panorama all around. The ship is large but small enough that staff remember you and give you personalized service. It made our stay truly memorable.

Ship Quality

Everything was very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great cabin, comfy bed, and our Steward was quick to help with any needs. Only two minor issues. There here is Ash on the balcony on Sea days. After the first Sea day the balcony was scrubbed down, but on the way back to LA it wasn't useable. Not too big of a deal for us. The views outweighed any ash we experienced. The second is that the employee smoking area is in a stairwell in the Havana area, making the area reek of smoke. However once the ship is moving it wasn't a problem. We also couldn't smell it in our room.

Ship tip

It's a mid sized ship (small to use after being on Celebration) but it meant it was more personalized and we really enjoyed that.
