Review summary

Overall it was an excellent cruise. First time on the Panorama since Covid. Was on the inaugural cruise in December of 19 and got sick, so nice to go back and show that ship who’s the boss. So much fun this time

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Long Beach is always a pretty simple embarkation. From walking in to on the boat in 15 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining was as blah as usual. Menu is so stale for regular cruisers. Specialty dining was good. Teppanyaki was delish. As was Asian and Italian place. Pizza excellent as usual

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots to do around the boat at all times or just relax in a lounger, which were aplenty

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Good overall. Celestial Strings show was really good. Rest of main shows were just ok.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All our waitstaff, servers, bartenders, and housekeeping staff were on their game and wonderful

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is laid out beautifully and very easy to navigate. Clean as can be. Elevators leave something to be desired.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Won’t stay on 1 again, but having an ocean view room that featured 2 showers, 1 as a tub, was super convenient and a plus.

Ship tip

Panorama is a great ship, easy to be yourself and find what you are looking for. Staff is great. Plenty of smoking areas is that’s your thing. Have a good time and try new things

Ports of call

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Had a blast. Walked and ferried to Stone Island. Found a restaurant called Lety’s. Propped ourselves into a lounger, ordered drinks, excellent food, and hung out at the beach for hours

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
Went snorkeling and water was a bit chilly and murky, but the ride out there in a small yacht was a blast.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

4 out of 5
Was very hot and humid that day, so just walked around and then back to ship.

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We arrived late and process was a disaster. Being platinum, we are supposed to be able to carry our luggage off first. Not the case. Staff let people come from anywhere once disembarkation began and it was very unorganized
