Small little delay.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
All food was great. Being a lower budget cruiseline. I didn't have high expectations. I preferred the specialty dining. MDR and buffet food was "okay", but is based on my likes and dislikes. I was a cook for 20 years. The food was still good.

Horizon and Vista Restaurant

3 out of 5

As I had my time dining, I had to reserve on the app. It said 10 minute wait. 20 minutes later, I'm still waiting for my table (I was alone). Approached the matre'd who then got me a table right away. I was not impressed with the prime rib, wasn't that tender. I did love the carnival melting cake. Server was awesome but it was very busy as it was formal night.

Entertainment

Christian the cruise director was awesome, very energetic and funny. Loved all the shows and comedians.

Service and Staff

My cabin steward (7444), Pablo, was outstanding, like family. He went above and beyond for me. I would give him 6 stars.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
As this was my first cruise and I was solo, I have nothing to compare it to. But, as a solo traveler, I loved my cabin. Very quiet at the aft of the ship. Perfect size for a solo traveler. Very clean with an amazing room steward.

Ship tip

Do not overthink what is needed for your cruise. Just enjoy your adventures. Also, do not arrive with very high expectations. These are "fun" ships, not luxury yachts.
