Great trip, great ship and staff, great ports. A few kinks to work out with communication, embarkation and disembarkation.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
The embarkation was slow and somewhat disorganized. Many people were frustrated and ignoring the posted times and lines. Those with disabilities were also frustrated at the waiting. The staff were frustrated as they appeared short handed. Once we got on the boat, the disorganization continued. There were no real good directions to muster stations. We just had to keep asking people where to go. Everyone was congregated in the dining areas so there were few seats available.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was OK. Nothing super spectacular. It reminded me of Sisco food service food.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Activities were plentiful and fun. Some of the camp ocean activities were underwhelming and some activities in the sports areas were late or didn't happen, but overall fun and enjoyable.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The production staff did an amazing job on the shows. There was one comedian who missed the mark on on performance but overall very good. I might have liked to see some diversity in entertainment, but what they had was good.
Children's Programs
We didn't really use the services
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff were always friendly and helpful
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was well maintained and cared for and appeared to be in good working order
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was fine.
Ship tip
Be prepared to wait during embarkation and debarkation.
The communication from the crew on "signing up" for water taxis to get off the boat was poor and unorganized. Cabo was fun once we got there. The line to get on a water taxi back was about 40 minutes. So our. Time in Port was limited. We did do a swim with the dolphins excursion that was excellent except they wouldn't let you take pictures and charged $390 for a picture package.
Disembarkation was very unorganized and took a long time. They did not coordinate well with hose who had airport transfers or those who had early flights. They have an "express checkout" where you carry your own luggage off the boat by muster station from 930 to 1000. After that, they had an early time and a late time to leave if they took your bags off from 1000 to 1030 and then 1030 to 1100. At 1100, they had still not gone through all of the express checkout muster stations. Finally a staff member just told us all to head down while they were still calling muster stations.
