Review summary

We took this cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary and brought our 6 year old daughter. It was a great relaxing trip. I personally spent a lot of time in the spa which was different than other cruises I have been on. Truly had a great time.

Embarkation

It was a hot mess. Traffic to get into the parking area so no one was on time. No one routing people. Anyone going to the port should give themselves at least an extra hour from what their stated check-in time is.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was really good. Didn’t got above and beyond but it was tasty.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was so much to do, I’d have to go on another cruise just like it to see and do everything. It was great and no reason to be bored.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
DJ was just meh but the shows were really good. One area they could have done better was utilizing the large movie screen during the day. They just showed generic commercials. It was really annoying.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My daughter didn’t want to leave Camp Ocean. If there was an event going on she would enjoy, she actually would choose Camp Ocean since she liked it so much.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was top notch and went out of their way to make your stay great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Newer ship and great staff keeping it up.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was tight but we had room for the three of us. We loved having the lounge access that came with the room type.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Dumpster fire

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
It was the most pushy port. It was hard to get to the beach or anywhere else. Gorgeous views

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Easy to get on and off. People super friendly. We did horseback riding and it was amazing.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Amazing city! We got a cab to a shopping district and had lunch. Definitely want to go back.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
So easy compared to the start of the trip.
