Review summary

We will repeat this cruise in the future... I can’t think of a cruise that we have enjoyed more...

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Long Beach Cruise Terminal is my favorite. It beautiful and very efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffet was laid out as to reduce crowding and did just that. The specialty restaurants were excellent and the dining room was beyond beautiful...

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Tides Pool

5 out of 5

We would go to ports a few hours later than others and go to the pools and serenity deck. We would have the place to ourselves for hours...

Entertainment

5 out of 5
At the Ocean Plaza, two bands would team up and absolutely rock the place. They were excellent, and the best rock I’ve heard onboard in all of our cruises...

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Couldn’t have asked for better...

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship’s layout was such that it seemed like the least crowded ship we’ve been on. Never long lines or overly congested areas. The new elevator designs made it so simple and quick to get to your floor. Pixels saved much time by using tablets to review and purchase pictures. No more hunting for your pics. The ship was immaculate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were very happy with our cabin. It was new so we expected it to be spotless. The layout and outlet availability was good. We picked our cabin where it was easily accessible to drop down one flight of stairs from the atrium.

Ship tip

We went to the Ocean Plaza several times for a small buffet breakfast. Often, we were the only ones there.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cabo Wabo (Sammy Hagar’s place) was, as always, a ton of fun...

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
We took a cab tour of the city and stopped by some historical locations.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Disembarkation

Very smooth and organized...

I have done this itinerary on the Splendor 2 years ago, and am going again at the end of May (hopely!) Liked the cruise and now on a bigger, newer ship.

I'm ready to go. I was on a cruise in Eastern Caribbean when the first 2 shop were denied docking. After being "home" last few months I say it's time go.

We were bummed to be canceled 5 days out due to the shelter in place. We were so close... rescheduled for September.
