Review summary

This ship is amazing. I enjoyed everything about it. It never felt like over 4,000 people were on it except for when there was something going on at the lido deck. Even then, it was not too bad.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very smooth. We arrived around 10:30 even with the traffic from the Ragge Festival. We had faster to the fun so we were able to board right behind the priority cruisers. We were on the ship by 11:15.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR food was always good for us. We at at the steakhouse one night and got excellent service too. We only ate breakfast once on the lido deck and that was to go the omelet station. Otherwise we ate breakfast in the MDR.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We had an aft extended Balcony Havana room so we mostly stayed in that area. The jacuzzis were warm but the pool, not so much. We ventured to the lido deck once in awhile but always went back to the Havana area. We also did the Groove for St Jude. Fun!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Everything was great!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We did not have a bad day. Staff was amazing from the dining room to our Havana bartenders to our room steward. Excellent service from all!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It’s a brand new ship. It was virtually spotless.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Spotless and very roomy. We did have a problem with the room creaking while the ship was in motion. Maintenance did all they could to rectify the problem. I sure hope they fix it for the next cruiser. Other than that the room was pretty quiet even with it being above the bar area. Our balcony was a nice size with a lounger, chair, and small table. Our room over looked the pool. Bonus!

Ship tip

It’s literally impossible to do everything all in one cruise. There is always something to do on the ship. every half hour there is something to get involved in. No excuse to get bored. Have fun! You’re on vacation!

Ports of call

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
We took a taxi to the Mazatlán Sign and then to the golden zone. We went back to the ship ate lunch and walked the blue line. We felt completely safe.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
By far my favorite port because of the Rhythm of the Nights! We had time to kill during the day so we took an Uber to the Melecon. We walked everywhere. It was so fun. Ubered back and went on our excursion to Rhythm of the Nights. This was an amazing show. A must see!

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
We went whale watching through carnival. Once it was over we walked to Medano Beach and had lunch at the Mango Deck. When it was time to leave, we grabbed a water taxi and headed back to the ship.

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Port was easy to get to even with the Reggae concert going on.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy Peasy. We had faster to the fun so we were able to leave whenever we wanted to.
