Review summary

Prior to this cruise, We have not cruised Carnival since 2009. We completed 10+ cruises on Royal Caribbean. The reason we chose Carnival was the itinerary. Well I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This trip was wonderful. Panorama is beautiful. The service was great, the food was great and we will be traveling Carnival again.

The main dining room was nice. I didnt really like the set up, kind of tight. Specialty restaurants were wonderful and buffet was really nice and very clean.

Onboard Activities

We didnt do any of the activities other than trivia, but they offered a lot, loads of fun.

Entertainment

There was a new stage show every night and it was always exciting. The performers were really good.

The service was really great. We had one waiter/bartender that seem to really hate his job, but it didnt change our experience, we just switched bars, LOL.

Cabin was nice, Stewart was excellent. The cabin was always clean and well kept. Mattress was great.

Ship tip

Bring a jacket, its always cold. No bar soap, gel dispensers with really nice shower gel and shampoo. No straws for drinks, only candy straws. All elevators are operated from the outside. No buttons on the inside, really cool.

Always a great port. You have to try Office on The Beach. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is always up beat.

Disembarkation

Word to the wise, the arrivals and departing for passengers is in the same area. Be prepared for a delay leaving the ship. It was crazy and very disorganized.

Thanks for the updates. We are cruising Pano in August in a Havana aft balcony. Was planning on staying at the Holiday the night before (free night). We have only cruised Royal before, but took this for the itinerary. Happy to see good reviews.
