Review summary

Due to the facy that Carnival Panorama was new and the flagship for Carnival, we had some high expectations. Overall, we were disappointed.

The theater was disappointing. The stage was small. Luxury and spaciousness were gone.

The ship was new and bigger. However, it lacked elegance, luxury and comfort. It was designed for the maximum efficiency to put more passengers on board. One good aspect was that the Lido restaurant was huge, so that we did not have much difficulty in getting an emplty table.

My wife and I decided that we would not sail on Carnival Panorama in the future. We would rather sail on older Carnival ships.

A cruise vacation is what you make of it. Myself and my family are going Aug 18th and intend on having an absolutely amazing time.

Sounds like your the type of people that should only sail on luxury cruise lines like princess, Costa, celebrity etc! Carnival is the fun ship not the snooty uptight ship!

I did the inaugural cruise on this ship. And my experience was completely the opposite of yours. I thought there was so many wonderful food options, restaurants etc. The shows were brilliant. Yes maybe the comedy shows lines were a little long but it is to be expected for that. The atrium had such elegance. Not quite sure what your expectations were but in any event it’s a shame you did not enjoy your trip. But thank you for your review.
