A bit disappointed at first, as our only other experience was with Holland, and they were much more service oriented, but once I came to the realization that carnival is more fun oriented, it was a great cruise. Emma is fun, (cruise director) and super high energy! Great crew, fun ship, I’ll be back.

Disappointed by the selection here. There are so many other places that are much much better! Had some cheese here that ruined the Lido Marketplace for my wife and I. Good place to avoid with all the other choices aboard.

JiJi Asian kitchen was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Great food, and fantastic service by friendly staff. Yeah, it’s an extra charge restaurant, but so very worth it at 15 bucks per person! If we’d have found this earlier in the cruise rather than the last evening, we’d have been back many times
Onboard Activities

The thermal spa was nice, 4 different saunas as well as the heated ceramic chairs. The rest of the spa was a little too high pressured to buy more services and products, especially after having multiple treatments (4 plus the thermal spa between my wife and I, plus we bought product)

Playlist productions ROCKED! What a series of shows! We saw Soulbound, Rock Revolution, and Celestial strings. They were all amazing shows. Make sure you see at least one of their shows in the Liquid Lounge. Also, the electric violin trio of New Age were really good (yeah, I even bought their CD)

Great service by the cabin stewards, Budi, our steward was friendly, courteous, and did a fantastic job. The room svc people that brought our coffee every morning were very friendly and early every time we ordered! 4 stars just because the Lido could use more personnel, and the spa was too high pressure. Everything else is 5 star.
Ship Quality

Loved the ship! Clean, spacious, and bright. At no time other than disembarkation morning did it seem like there were over 5000 passengers and crew on board
Did the your van your way excursion, and had Mel as our driver/guide. Very knowledgeable about the city, took us to places all over, and we had some (and brought home) the best tequila I’ve ever had-La Novena tequila. Berenice at the tequila place was great!
Smooth and quick! (Once we were able to leave)- the waiting part after leaving the stateroom but before going ashore was not so good. Not enough seating for everyone with their luggage. Once we started to go ashore it was pleasingly quick and smooth
