Cruising with friends always makes for a more enjoyable trip. This was my first Carnival cruise while the wife has cruised with them before and our friends are LOYAL Diamond members. An enjoyable time at sea and we were well cared for and fed.

We enjoyed plenty of variety and the meals were made more enjoyable by the wait staff, especially at dinner. Soft-serve ice cream at the ready was a big TREAT and I do miss it. Steak house meal was very nice.
Onboard Activities

Not a lot of out door activities during the cooler parts of the cruise. But, took advantage of the miniature golf; but the best part was the variety of Trivia games throughout. Oti made the games enjoyable and interactions with the guest was fantastic.
Entertainment

The shows were good. The comedy not so much. Maybe it is my sense of humor as many guest seemed to enjoy those acts.
Service and Staff

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our cabin steward, Kamar was top notch. Friendly, greeted us by name, and ensured we were well cared for.
Ship Quality

Ship is older and showing some age in the art/decor; but was very easy to navigate through and get around. Much easier than a previous cruise on another cruise line.
Cabin / Stateroom

Met our needs and was kept fresh and clean by Kumar our steward. Do recommend adding more plug outlets or at least USB plugs near the bed.
Had been here before and did most of the excursions on land, picked a boat/brunch excursion. Nice friendly crew but as nature is apt to do; not a lot of wildlife seen. Tender operation at the port made getting off/on a bit of a pain.
