Review summary

Overall, if you are not necessarily looking to have fun on the ship and just get port to port, then the Miracle is fine. It will get you there. But on this type of northern itinerary where more time is indoors, I would have liked a more updated ship. Would not chose to cruise on Miracle again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Boarding was easy and quick

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was terrible. The main dining room food was tasteless and boring. Pizza was the best item on board. Guys burgers was a close second. Would prefer to eat at those locations over the dining room any day.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pools are tiny. Casino is tiny and old.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Musicians were good. The “show of the cruise” on the last day was a cheesy magician, where everything in his act was so boring.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was awesome. Especially the host stand in the main dining room. They made the dining experience not so bad.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Well maintained, but you can only put so much lipstick on a pig. It’s still a pig. This is just an old, old ship. Decor and amenities are SO OUTDATED.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It was pretty tight, especially with a crib. Bathroom could have been better, compared to other ships in other lines.

Ship tip

Chose a newer ship
