Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise on Carnival to Alaska. The boat was clean and comfortable and the service staff were stellar. However, the lines/congestion in the buffet and food quality could be improved.

Line to drop off luggage and check-in after you've already checked-in online was a 2-hour process.

Service and Staff

Our room steward, Patcharin, was so friendly every time we saw her. Always asking how our day was and making sure our room was to our satisfaction. Our waiters were also top-notch. The Team Leader Server, Tachaya is the hardest working waiter I've ever seen. She remembers everyone's names at our table and consistently got our orders right. She was assisted by Wanwipa, who got our drink orders. Once again, another great example of speed, accuracy, and consistency all with a big smile and super-friendly personality.

Cabin motif seemed a little outdated, but was very clean and comfortable.
