Review summary

We won't be cruising Carnival again. It just didn't accommodate our needs or our schedule. Nice people though

Embarkation

A bit slow and Verifly wasn't accected even though it was recommended by Carnival itself

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Definitely not designed around east coast schedules. Buffet opened hours after we woke up and MDR even later. Selection on buffet was the same food every single day

The aft cabins are up against the kids club. It's loud, very loud. It made for very tough sleeping conditions. We asked to be moved but never heard back from guest services. Being kept up until my 3am, every single night, was ridiculous. These rooms should come with a noise warning

Ship tip

I'm always cold. Inside the ship, I had to wear sweatshirts and hoodies. If you are easily chilled, take warner clothes

Disembarkation

Only those with luggage and needing to make flights were supposed to be allowed off the ship early. That wasn't the case, leading to white a few confrontations between cruise terminal personnel not being prepared and passengers that wanted their luggage, come hell or high water. What was supposed to take 30 minutes or less, took almost 2 hours

Now I know Why I dislike Caribbean cruises. The time change and food being cold because I am still sleeping when it is made. 🙄

If our personal planner wants to choose our room, or if we do. I always look at the deck map above, below and same floor to see what is around. As far as the dining opening time, doesn’t matter which time zone you are from. They open at the same time on all ships “Ship Time”. Sorry it wasn’t what you expected.

Buffet opened about 7. That was "hours" after you woke up? Are you from the east coast of England?
