Review summary

Have been on several Alaska cruises and they never disappoint. Tremendous scenery and wildlife. Ship had lite passengers and was wide open...loved it.

Embarkation

Since we flew to Seattle...the process at the airport to Get to the Carnival buses was terrible! An easy 1/2 to 3/4 mile jaunt with your luggage to get to the location of the buses. Also your first check of all paper work. Another 45 minutes to ship and a long line to get checked in. We must have showed our papers and ID 5 times before we could finally file it. An easy 3 hours from airport to actual boarding. Wow!!!

Forward Extended Balcony cabin....great views on starboard side, deck 10 as I recall. I know we were just under the bridge! Typical room, clean and roomy enough.

Ship tip

Study your ship maps....if your aft or forward, as we were, get your bearings and save some walking/confusion.

@retiredRay...thanks for the additional info about the SeaTac terminal. I'll be sure to keep that in mind for my Alaska cruise next year.

SEATAC used to load the busses at a reasonable area, but then they redid the terminal and the busses are now a convoluted distance away.
