Review summary

The crew was solid, dining experience great, buffets mediocre, the ship noticeably used. We would consider another Carnival cruise but on a newer ship .

It was very hard to find healthy choices on the buffet. The Bakhus dining room experience was superb. Hostess Sultana was making us feel so welcome - hospitality is just something she was born with. Our table crew Herman, Ferdinand, Kerrie (sorry, if misspelled) was worthy of any high end restaurant. Accommodating, in depth knowledge of the menu, observant to our dining habits, etc. They worked together as a well tuned mechanism. The menu had good choices and the dishes well prepared and presented. All of the above made the dining experience a highlight of the cruise.

Trivia hosts were not prepared , just yelling out questions is not enough. They themselves could not even understand or pronounce their own questions- do you homework, please!. Gym trainer Was looking thru the window instead of correcting me while I was hurting my back.
