To re-cap, we enjoyed our cruise immensely with the exception of our spa services and their lack of effort to rectify it.

We loved the food and wide variety. In the main dining room, our wait team (Lidia Medve, Rositsa Rosenova Radionova, and Silvanys Torres) was extremely friendly, always accommodating, fun and answered all of our questions.

We absolutely loved the duo Liz and Lucas! They interacted well with the crowd, very approachable and so talented! The violin trio was very good too but they never smiled or looked like they were enjoying themselves...

See above regarding our dining room wait staff. We enjoyed Wayan, our room attendant! He was so friendly and accommodating. Melissa in the atrium bar was awesome! She knew our names from day one and knew what we liked to drink- very friendly and fun!
The "but" I referred to in the title of my survey refers to my experience at the spa. I will definitely book another Carnival cruise in the future however or unless there is something done to rectify what happened- I will never book another spa service. We booked couples massages and we each booked a facial. The massages were obviously done together and there was no issue there. Sophia did my facial and it was ok until the end when she came in with her products to sell me. I understand that this might be part of her job but never in my life have I experienced such a high pressured sales pitch! I told her no several times and she should have stopped after my first no but she continued and after each no she demanded to know why and kept asking me why I wouldn't buy the products. She then told me there were many issues going on with my skin and that I needed to come back in 2 days for another facial. She proceeded to try and book a time and when I said no, she again wanted an explanation as to why I wouldn't re-book. I left feeling stressed and very angry. I went to the salon to meet my boyfriend who had also received a shave/facial and he was enduring a similar sales pitch. He too left feeling angry. The more we thought about it, the more it bothered us so eventually we went to customer sales. They called the spa and told us a manager would be contacting us. Nobody contacted us and there were no messages on our cabin phone. We went back to customer service on the last day and said this but customer service told us there was nothing more they could do. Really?? So the 5 stars above reflect food/drink/cabin staff but if there had been a separate spot to rate the spa, I would have given it one star at most given the way we were treated, made to feel, and that nothing was done to fix the situation.

It was bigger than I thought it'd be and the view was nice!
This was our favorite port of all!! Extremely clean! We did the sting ray excursion- it was a nice boat ride there and back but I thought we'd have more interaction with the sting rays. The beach was the best!
So glad you enjoyed your cruise! It seems things are turning positive for the Miracle from a couple of months ago, maybe they have been reading reviews. We love Routan and Grand Cayman so glad the you liked them as well. Sorry for your less than positive experience in the spa, we gave it up a few years ago.
