Review summary
This cruise was AMAZING!!! I hope I can get my wife to go on another one with me. The only thing she doesn't like about the cruise is getting sea sick so hopefully I can get her to go cruising one more time with me! Thank you Carnival for an awesome Vacation!! Thank you EDGAR from Punchliner and other entertainment and THANK YOU LISABETH from the Casino for making our Cruise and Vacation incredible!! Thank you Fritz Gerald Latumahina, Sang Gede Raka, and Supapich Chatsuwan from dinning! All of you guys were amazing and truly made our Vacation worth every penny!!Embarkation
Embarkation was exciting!! Everyone was excited to help us board and we were able to board quickly and easily. Our room was ready when we got to our room so that was also nice.

Food and Dining
Fritz Gerald Latumahina was AMAZING!!! He took such good care of us and knew us by name the very first night. He was always sincerely interested in our well being and how our day was at Port. We saw Fritz at the buffets a few times and we would always make it a point to talk to us and see how our day was. He went well ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations!! We also had Sang Gede Raka and Supapich Chatsuwan who were super helpful and friendly. We had a person in our group who was a Gluten Free eater and they made sure to get her a menu the night before and have her order ready and prepared Gluten Free for the next day. These employees of yours SET THE STANDARD for what all of your employees should be doing!!
Onboard Activities
We went to some of the deck parties and we also went to the Serenity deck a few times including the hot tub and it was really nice. All of the things we participated in were awesome and the customer service was good. They did kick us out of the Hot Tub one time 5 minutes before they closed for the night but it wasn't a big deal because we totally understand their point of view.
Mr. Lucky's Casino
Lisabeth was amazing and made our experience losing money at the casino way fun! She kept making us want to come back. Thank you very much.
Entertainment
Edgar, Oskar, DJ Cue (Kirby) they were incredible host and it was nice to be able to get to know them and feel like we became friends in those 7 days that we were able to interact. The shows were awesome!! We made sure we didn't miss a show and we went to at least one comedy show every night! Edgar was an awesome host and always made us feel welcome!! What a stand up guy!! DJ Cue (Kirby) was always there just before the doors would open to the shows and was very friendly and was always very talkative and fun to be around. He made you want to be on the Cruise!! Lisabeth was the Best employee I have ever interacted with on a Carnival Cruise! She was in the Casino and was always so friendly and helpful! I saw her everyday and she was really nice and patient with some of the patrons who didn't know how to play certain casino games and was willing to teach them. My wife who never gambles got to meet Lisabeth the second to last day we were on ship and she was so nice to my wife and was excited to meet her. She made my wife feel like a very like a million bucks and barely even knew her. On the last Saturday night when we left the casino she saw us leaving and made it a point to give my wife a hug and say good bye to her. She is another amazing employee that truly set the bar super high and emulated what a Carnival Employee should be like!! Thank you Lisabeth for your kindness to not only me but to my wife!! It takes a special talent to make some feel good while you are taking their money!! hahaha
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
Waiters were nice but I didn't feel like they went above and beyond. They did their job well but that was about it. Oska was a room Steward and I will tell you what he was very good. The only guys name I remember from our last cruise on the Imagination a year ago was Noel. Oska wasn't as good as Noel however Oska always had our room looking nice and made it happen when we asked and while we were out and about for the day. Oska does great work!! Thank you for taking care of us.
Ship Quality
Everything was clean and the ship was nice. I can't really complain about the layout because I was able to get use to it and was able to find my way to things in a pretty easily. It wasn't the same as the last ship I was on so it did take a little getting use to and I did like the layout of the Imagination better however it was fine and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was awesome. Way better than our last room we had. It was nice having a little more space and room to lounge out. It was very clean and had a lot of space which was nice.
Ship tip
Make sure you go to the shows and to the performances. They are well worth your time!

Ports of call
This was my biggest complaint!! This Port had a 45 minute Tender to get to the port!! My wife got motion sick before we got back to the ship! I loved going to Cozumel however I wish there was an actual port instead of having to use the Tender. The Excursion was a Sinote with a secret river in a Cave. It was an awesome excursion. We had a lot of fun.
This port had a 20 minute Tender so it wasn't as bad. We absolutely LOVED Belize. We went on the Cave Tubing Excursion and our Tour Guide was incredible. We enjoyed the shops and the pier. Belize is an awesome place and we had a great experience here.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Thank Goodness there was no Tender here!! Honduras was AWESOME!! It helped that we had no Tender however my wife also loved our excursion which was holding Monkeys and Sloths and Macaws! We also had the opportunity to see the Island of Roatan which was awesome along with being able to go shopping. This was probably our favorite stop. The only lame part is that we had to leave this port early to be able to get to the Cayman Islands. I liked the Cayman Islands however we would have rather spent more time her than over in Grand Cayman.
This port was nice because the Tender was only 5 minutes. We really enjoyed the Cayman Islands except it was very expensive for everything we did. Our excursion was awesome and our guides were incredible and very knowledgeable. We had a meal that cost us $150.00 for 4 people. The US dollar is worth $0.80 to the Cayman dollar so that isn't good.
Disembarkation
Our disembarkation was pretty good. The only complaint was we bought a souvenir knife for our son. I know there are strict policies for knives but when they took it from us in Belize they told us we could get it back on our Disembarkation day. They really gave me the run around just to find out from Security when we got off the ship that is was confiscated and would not be given back to us. I AM TOTALLY FINE with my knife being confiscated because I understand that rules are rules and we probably signed some sort of waiver that I didn't fully read I just wish I wouldn't have gotten up at 6:30 am to get the run around and think I was still going to get my son's knife just to find out when we got off the ship and they told me to ask a security guard for it they told me they threw it away. Next time tell me that when you confiscate the knife to begin with. I understand everyone needs to be safe so I appreciate the rule I just didn't like how the message was delivered. Besides that Edgar was VERY HELPFUL in getting us off the ship in a timely manner. Thanks again EDGAR for going above and beyond the call of duty!!
