Review summary

It was a nice experience, we went with friends who have done many cruises with Carnival so it was great. However I think I would like to try a different cruise line next time.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Being the first time I felt like it was very disorganized. You would think that a cruise line expecting so many people on board will have a better embarkation system. The young lady who helped us was not friendly at all, we asked couple questions and she seemed bothered by. Then we were kind of lost not sure where to go as people were walking in all kind of directions. I am sure it all depends on the cruise line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
They were fair, some days better than others. Food does not taste that fresh, but still acceptable.

Nick & Nora's Steakhouse

5 out of 5

I must say that for the price it was really good. The service was excellent as well.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center. I found a little small. Plus I wish they did not allowed little kids in it.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We watched an 80's show and it was really good, we really enjoyed it. The DJ was pretty good. Everyone did an awesome job entertaining. However there was a young girl singing by the serenity pool that could not sing, needless to say that most of us started to leave the area.

Library

3 out of 5

I really like the library, however I wish they have cameras or supervision, to make sure people can quietly read and study, without people laughing and making noise.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most people in the ship were super friendly and attentive. Our room steward made sure we were talking care of. Our waiter was also exceptional, very friendly and nice!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship looked pretty old in certain areas. A little crowded set up in other areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was pretty nice size, I actually thought it would be much smaller. It was fairly clean, however I always take my cleaning things, to clean in areas which normally are not that clean, like drawers and shower, along with surfaces.

Ship tip

Watch the videos from cruiseline.com and try Nick & Nora's steakhouse.
