Review summary

I want you to know we did have a great time, what I am going to tell you here is what needs to be changed. you need to send out more information about the cruise before people go, how to use your cell phone, costs of internet different prices, what to except once on ship (hours to eat, info about shows, times to board ship, information on leaving the ship upon return)  My biggest complaint was the size of the TV in the staterooms and this would be a another money maker on board, upgrade to a larger TV mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed, include more that current 8 channels.  add music channels, as its very hard to download music with the existing wifi even paying the top wifi price of $99.00.  another thing there is one plug in the stateroom to plug into (that's right one) you need to bring a power strip or a extension cord or they the ship should provide one, no plugs in the bath except for a shaver. food was ok, entertainment ok, ice cream great.  I do love to gamble, but did not once in the casino because of the smoking.

my biggest complaint about , was the lack of information before the cruise you need to send out more information building up the vacation.

this balcony was the saving grace, all it needed was a cushion or two for my chairs, and a electrical outlet for my computer.

MORSE CODE: Sit on stool at mirror in stateroom . Open top left drawer....there is a hairdryer!

No surge protector. It can do something with ships electrical system. All rooms have 1 outlet. Much, much newer ships are set up better.

ChrisandFrank    8 years ago

Yes..without surge protector...just plain power strip..it's on their website. I always bring a power cord with 5 outlets. If it has the surge protector feature..they will confiscate it. They won't catch it when you check in, but your room steward will ;)

No surge protection?

honeedeww    8 years ago

Bring a power cord!

kalddl2005    8 years ago

Thank you good to know.

ChrisandFrank    8 years ago

No..you bring a power strip..without surge protection

Omg we go on the miracle next month. So you have to dry your hair curl it etc with the one plug in the room. Man oh man. Was this a stand state room?

banaford    8 years ago

1 outlet, outlet in bathroom only works for a shaver.

kalddl2005    8 years ago

Is it true there was only one plug in the cabin? Also in bath isn't there a outlet for hairdryers?

All info you say needs to be sent out..is everywhere. Perhaps me more proactive, and research yourself. All info you mentioned is either here on ship mate., on carnival.com and also is carnival face bk page. . Ps on the smoking in casino..have u been to vegas? Biloxi? Texas? All casinos..all smoking..all the time! 🚬🚬🚬🚬

Also, it seems the poster thinks they're addressing the cruise line ("you need to change these things...") Wrong place.

tikishoppua    8 years ago

That's true, blkisheaven, but to say there should be a bigger tv in the cabins, mounted at the foot of the bed is unrealistic. First for space, second for safety issues. People can choose to do whatever they like on their cruise, for sure, but this point seems kinda silly.

blkisheaven    8 years ago

Actually sometimes it is nice to retreat to your room and watch some tv. Some people also go on vacation to rest and relax and don't have to be out and about the entire 7 days!

luvtocruise04    8 years ago

You go on a cruise to have fun not to watch tv,or complain about everything go enjoy yourself.

mjl1960    8 years ago

Uh...I can watch tv at home, when I am on a cruise, it is party time.

honeedeww    8 years ago

Have you tried you tube?? They have loads of info on you tube..

readytosail2    8 years ago

Loriboehm you're right...tv on vacation...we hardly spent any time in our room besides sleeping and banaford yeah they give u all the info on your funtime...i smell laziness on their part! You have to research, research and then research some more!

loriboehm    8 years ago

Your biggest complaint is the size of the TV? I like TV as much as the next girl but, come on. Its vacation...If you do any amount of research prior to a cruise ALL of the additional info you request that Carnival provides to you is available. I just don't understand the mindset that all of this is someone else's responsibility.

banaford    8 years ago

Agree kknorr0320..believe this is lack of research before the cruise. And all times and info once on ship comes in funtimes the night before. I am only noting this so future cruisers realize all info can be found long before your cruise.

kknorr0320    8 years ago

All of that information except the cell phone piece is on the website.
