Review summary
This was the last cruise before the ship went into dry dock. Everything was wonderful. The food was good, service was great, and this was probably my smoothest disembarkment ever; however, getting on the ship was the worst. They had checkin set up outside. We stood in long lines for a LONG time and it exhausted my group of four. By the time we got in were sweaty and a couple of us with health problems such as bad hip, etc. were hurting. Once you get past, it was wonderful. In my opinion, the difference between an okay cruise and an outstanding cruise is the cruise director. Our cruise director, Kevin, was one of the best. He was personable and interacted with all the cruisers. He was a big plus. The ship's Captain was visible at the beginning of the cruise and interacted with us. Everyone was wonderful...the ports were wonderful...it was a good cruise. Wish there had been a bit more activity during the day but it wasn't bad.
