Review summary

Our firts cruise and it was fantastic. Don't be concerned about the days at sea - they are a blast and very relaxing. We would sail on Carnival again without question.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Ouyr favorite port. A beautiful island. We took an open air bus tour of the Island with breathtaking views from the ridgelines. Bus ride terminated at Cane Garden Bay beach which was spectacular. Need to do an excursion here as there is not much right by the pier.
Don't Miss: Take an inexpensive excursion on an open air bus to a beautiful beach. The views from the ridges are un-real.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Our least favorite port. We walked up the hill, took a few pictures at the old fort, and headed back to the ship. It is very built up and touristy. We did not schedule any excursions here.
Don't Miss: The ship when it pulls out as the next two ports were great.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Two excursions here - castaway barefoot sail and snorkle, and Magan's beach getaway. Snorkle site was beautiful. However with 80 snorklers on the boat, when we broke up into two groups of 40 it was a bit crowded during the snorkle. Catmaran ride out was a bit bumpy and the sea at the snorkle site were a bit choppy. (I still had a blast) In the afternoon we took an open air bus to Drake's seat for a nice view of Magan's bay beach, a beautiful beach where we spent a few hours.

Pros: Entire experience was wonderful. Our 20th Anniversary and we don't intend to wait 20 more years for the next one.-

Cons: San Juan was our least favorite port.
