Outstanding cruise!

Sail Date: February 04, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was ship-shape and kept very clean. Sometimes we enjoyed just resting on our balcony, or getting up early and getting out to see the sunrise. We felt very free on the ship.

Pros: I liked how whatever we needed was taken care of promptly and graciously.

Cons: The short time spent at each port, and having to end the trip and leave the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico
We went snorkling off the glass bottom boat. Really nice, except it rained hard when coming back in. Be prepared.
Don't Miss: Great fish action.
Belize City, Belize
Stick with the tours at this port. Maybe dangerous to go off on your own here. Poverty is a problem for these folks.
Don't Miss: Not sure.

George Town, Grand Cayman
Very friendly people in Grand Cayman; no pressure to buy. The Atlantis Sub is packed with too many people. It was a great ride, but the seats were made when we were little. We are bigger now, so adjustments in numbers should be made for comfort.
Don't Miss: The beach.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
More rustic here than other ports. Had fun at the tourist port there. Not many bargains on jewelry, although they have a lot to look at.
