The services from ship's personnel was the overall best part of the cruise!! They were all excellent from the room stewards to the dining room, were all remarkable!!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
All parts of the ship were always kept clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our cabin was always kept clean by the room stewards, and the beds were comfortable, but maybe it's time to update the bathrooms! We had to ask for service for the shower head that was visibly rusty and the showerhead holes were clogged where we would only get a trickle of water and it would be scalding! The water in the sink was the same! A slight trickle of water and couldn't regulate the temperature. The mini refrigerator wouldn't cool past warm and the steward had to keep bringing ice so that I could keep my insulin at proper temperature. The Carnival hub was terrible! My entire family was also on this so we did not need to connect to the Wi-Fi completely, but we did pay for Carnival's connection so that we could communicate with the family within the ship, but it never worked, nor were we able to open any of the restaurant menus and would need to ask for paper menus. We also could not open our account statements or balances on the hub, to keep informed of our budget.

Ship tip

Try one of the newer or maintained ships.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Embarked here as we live in Miami. It was organized and Port stewards were efficient and helpful.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
Hired transportation to take us to local beach, which was beautiful!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Nice town. Hired transportation to local beach, which was beautiful!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
Though we had a nice time amongst the family, we had the least time of all the ports, being it was the biggest one. Spent most time standing in lines at the restaurants.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

3 out of 5
Nice pool & water park. We were at this port the longest, at a pool park and shops belonging to Carnival...

Disembarkation

Was quick and well organized
