The weather was HOT early in the week so time on balcony or decks was a bit uncomfortable. Later in the week temperatures came down making more enjoyable to be outside.
Embarkation

SO fast! First time we've seen the drug dog in action, but even with that, we barely stopped walking.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate dinner every night in the MDR. We enjoy the experience. Waitstaff (Rodel, Ronnie, Dandie) were attentive and efficient. I can't say we LOVE the new menus, however. Emeril's menus lean heavy on fish and Cajun dishes. The Alchemy is not listed as a venue! Best bar on the ship. Shout out to Daniella!
Coffee Bar

My husband visited daily and the spiked chocolate milkshakes with Kahlua are awesome.
BlueIguana Cantina

I think I ate tacos everyday. Yum!
Carnival Deli

For a late night bite after drinking all day I highly recommend the chicken salad on rye!
Onboard Activities

We played bingo, participated in several rounds of trivia, the piano bar was fun, used the gym a couple of times, Groove for St Jude, and many others. Lots to do...or not. Whatever you choose.
Entertainment

We attended all the Playlist shows. They were excellent. The strongest and most talented cast we've seen.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
I already mentioned our MDR staff and Alchemy. Our room steward, Sho, was great and accommodated the few requests I had. I didn't know quite where to mention it, but the Hub app was very glitchy throughout the cruise and we were disappointed with the "chat" feature. It was pretty useless.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship is easily navigated, and staff are always cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom

More than adequate for two people and we love the cove balcony. Nice and close to the water!
Ship tip
There are lots of things to do! But do what YOU want...it's your vacation!
This was the first time we booked an excursion from an outside vendor. It was great! We happened to see it reviewed on YouTube. It included an extensive tour of the Topper's Rhum factory (excellent), lunch (good), and a stop at Maho beach (husband bucket list item).
Spent several hours enjoying the lazy river, laying in the sun, and relaxing. Staff are constantly coming around to take food or drink orders. On the way back, I had the "fish pedicure". Fun!
We were slated to ferry over to Saint John to snorkel however Hurricane Beryl brought large waves, so the excursion was canceled. We walked around the cruise port instead and took the Sky Ride up the mountain and enjoyed a drink and a snack.
A bit of a hold up here. We did not receive info via the app regarding what groups were to report to disembark. This was our first experience with digital debarkation.
