Very good food and desserts, better than past cruises.

Onboard Activities

The only onboard activities we did was the aqua zone with my grandkids. It was very nice and loved the location on the ship. It was easy to get to and more centrally located on the ship.

Entertainment

This was our 6th Carnival cruise, my brother and his families 1st cruise. We had talked up the amount of entertainment that is offered on cruises as well as the different types. This by far was a big disappointment. It was 4th of July week so we had definitely expected a fun 4th of July party. The only deck parties were an 80’s glow party and the 4th of July day or night. Both were changed to the 3rd floor atrium area which is small compared to the lido deck. Too small to have a great time. There was not many musical type shows to go to, not many games and during the days very, very little entertainment. No hairy chest contest, no line dances, even the Groove for St. Jude’s was short and to the point. Very boring when compared to previous cruises.

How was the movement of the ship being on deck too, trying to decide if want to do that deck.

Looks like the cruise director was Zack.. Not surprised by your comments. I had a very similar experience when he was CD on the Valor. He definitely doesn’t bring nor promote the type of FUN expected from Carnival. I hope your next cruise is more in line with expectations.
