Review summary

over all we had a great first cruise. We even found two ducks which I didn't know was a thing but was told we were fortunate to have found some on our first cruise. We did have some odor issues that I explained earlier. everyone was super friendly and so helpful. I was disappointed the food wasn't better but I get it your cooking for over 3000 people. will for sure go on another cruise. maybe not on carnival ( just to try other cruise lines) but another cruise for sure.

Food and Dining

This was my first cruise. I was excited to experience the food on the ship because all I heard about was how good the food is. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The food wasn't bad but not what I was expecting. We did try some of the specialty restaurants and they were pretty good but over all the food was just ok.

Onboard Activities

We went to the pool and some of the parties and shows. All of them were pretty good.

our porter Lydia was amazing. my wife was collecting the towel animals but she kept taking them everyday. on the third day she asked how everything was and we told her that she was disappointed because she would take the animals the next day. When we came back to the room she had remade all of he animals and had them lined up on the couch waiting for us.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony cabin which i definitely recommend for anyone who gets motion sick. if you start to feel a little sick go sit out on the balcony and look across the ocean for a few minutes and you will start to feel better. Our only issue with the room was someone around us was smoking weed and in St Thomas and St marten the room had gotten a sewer smell. We complained but all they would say is when it does smell to call and someone would come investigate. problem is the smells didn't last long enough for someone to make it there in time to verify the smells.

Ship tip

take magnates for the walls and a cruise approved extension cord.
