Review summary

The cruise was good. Sanitizer stations were pretty much nonexistent. Next time we will go earlier as it was a little cool.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Went quickly even with the extra step of needing the app for Canada.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet was horrible. Food was dried out, hardly warm, and unappetizing. Food and service in the main dining room were both good. Guy’s Burgers was good.

Lido Marketplace

2 out of 5

Unless you have to eat here, don’t.

Northern Lights and Southern Lights Dining Rooms

5 out of 5

Good variety of options. Food was always fresh and the right temp. Service was fast. Found the temp of the dining room a little chilly.

Swirls

5 out of 5

Nice variety of options.

Cucina Del Capitano

4 out of 5

Had lunch here on embarkation day. Pasta was good but the Ceaser salad had way too much anchovy in it.

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. Line up early because this is a popular spot.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Trivia is very specific with no general trivia games.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Nightly shows were very dated and not very good. Comedians were all very funny.

Seaside Theater

3 out of 5

Shows were boring and not very creative.

Spotlight Lounge

5 out of 5

Comedy shows were good. Get there early.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff was friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean and well laid out.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean and well maintained.

Ship tip

Take your own hand sanitizer. Venues can be cool so take a sweater or jacket.

Ports of call

Saint John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
This was a very interesting port. We did the top 10 of St. John tour and even though it was 6.5 hours long it was a great tour. If you do this tour be sure to have the seafood chowder at your stop in St. Martin.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
We did the Peggy’s Cove and Titanic tour. It was rainy and chilly but our tour guide kept it fun.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Went quickly.
