Review summary

The Welcome to the Jungle cruise is named this way because of the wild teens running like savages on the ship. They had no home trainning. They were up all night make noise everywhere. They hogged the hot tubs. They ran down the hall ways even after midnight. They fought, and they bullied another kid so bad that he attempted to jump off the railing and was pulled back by onlookers. There is video on the Facebook group page of a fight where a kid got jumped inside the Teen club. Nobody intervened. Carnival needs to step up its security big time. The repercussions need to be enforced and should be severe.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
As usual for Carnival, chaotic.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The buffet was my least favorite but the MD was great and the specialty resturants' were excellent.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were too crowded. Waterslide and the rope climbing thing were always closed not sure why. The hot tubs were small and always full mostly with teenagers.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Entertainment is always great my only complaint is that they don't put on a main show every night and that might be due to staffing issues.

Children's Programs

No children with me.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Only had one negative experience with One waiter who waited on other guests before us who were seated before them and he was aware of it. Found this to be rude.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Crew works hard to keep ship clean however it is an older ship and its showing its wear and tear, no fault of the crew.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Clean, and spacious but the shower was very small.

Ship tip

It's an older ship so keep that in mind and lower your expectations.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Disembarkation

Truly chaotic. We waited for an hour to take an elevator to the 3rd floor from the 7th as we were carrying our luggage off. I had to carry my 25 inch and 21 inch suticase down the stairs and nearly fell.
