Review summary

I would say the best part of being on the ship was the cruise director Ryan Rose. He was the best! So entertaining & so much energy!

Hours of waiting to get on the ship in NY

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
We were disappointed that there were no games by the pool.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
I walked into the theater for one of the shows & walked back out. It was super basic, not like some other shows I’ve seen on ships.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room steward wasn’t the best & opened the door 2 different times when I was getting dressed for dinner.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The carpet in our room had a stain & there was a bad smell in the hallway. The overall decor of the ship was pretty basic, nothing special.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Very tight, especially the shower. There was a stain on our carpet, dust in the ceiling vent which could’ve easily been vacuumed out & the end of the curtain was broken.

Ship tip

Don’t go

Ports of call

New York, New York

Not a positive embarkation process…

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We wanted to take a taxi to the Mountaintop but was told “we could take you there, but not sure how you would get back” so we didn’t get to see any of the island, just the shops around the port area so that was disappointing.

Grand Turk Island

There’s never enough chairs for everyone & we were the last group to get called for disembarkation so we had no chance of finding a seat.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Disembarkation

Absolutely horrible! It was the most unorganized thing I’ve ever seen! They announced that they don’t want you waiting on the same level that you have to get off & we had to get out of our cabin & we didn’t want to be where it was too crowded, so we went on one if the upper decks & sat & waited for our number to be called & it was fine. But when we went to the elevators to try to go down, they said there would be 6 available elevators & there were only 2! Every time the elevator opened it was packed! It took forever!
