The best cruise I have ever taken! Ports were beautiful-although Grand Turks is small and covid has slowed down their tourist economy. I love submerging myself in the cultures where I am visiting so I loved every bit of each port.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
I try to stay away from the buffets as my will power to eat healthy seems to disappear. But I absolutely loved each of my nights and mornings in the main dining rooms. Plenty of options even for picky eaters like one of my children.
Onboard Activities

Ran on the track and did the weight baring machines almost everyday. Didn't make it into the fitness center as that style of working out for me is only when the weather permits me from going outside. Kids and myself loved the slides and pool. My husband and I enjoyed the Red Pub frog as we joined friend (new and old) to play games and enjoy adults drinks.

Children's Programs

They absolutely loved their time at Carnival kids Camp. They were in camp ocean (6-8 year olds). My son was apprehensive about it (he said he remembered not liking it a few years ago when he went) and was even trying to avoid going before we boarded the ship. It didn't take him long to fall in love with some of the workers and activities. We never had to "make" either of our children to go. They were both willing and excited to go. I will tell you on the last night, when we had to pick the children up, I'm pretty sure, they were both teary eyed having to leave their new friends and camp counselors.
Service and Staff

I've always had great service from our room steward and main waiters. (We liked our waiter so much we actually made reservations with her every other night we ate in the dining room)
There were a few bar tenders (alchemy bar) that were easily frustrated and one even went off on a passenger. The bar tenders message was correct (about not serving passengers that have had over their 15 limit drink policy)but she continued to explain the policy to this passenger and go louder and louder drawing more attention, as if it were this passenger were the one breaking the policy. (The passenger was simply asking about it) If I remember correctly, this bar tender was on her last or second to last trip before going home.

Cabin / Stateroom

I did not have an interior stateroom. We upgraded through carnival and had a balcony room which was a first of me. It was fantastic. I may never be able to do a regular interior room again. (6433)
Ship tip
If you want a clam shell sun bathing lounge on the serenity deck, get there early. Also, don't be surprised to see people placing items on chairs on the lido deck (early like 7am early) and disappear for a long while.
Happy you had a great time! And yes that's the bad part about trying a balcony. Ypu might not be able to go back to interior! Haha. Well at least that's what happened either husband and I. He only wants balcony!
