Review summary

Enjoyed ourselves as always even with the additional restrictions. We were so excited to learn that Gary was our cruise director, he is so awesome!!!! This was our first time at these ports and I would do both again. The crew worked hard constantly sanitising and cleaning the ship

Only thing I believe that needs improved is more hangers in the closets

Don't worry about the negative comments you read. Go and enjoy yourself because cruising is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations i have done. A one stop vacation spot.

Ports of call

Bimini, Bahamas

We went to the public beach, had loads of fun finding conch shells (beware of the jellyfish). The water is a beautiful turquoise colour that you can see all the little fish. Here is something we found out: 360 beach excursion is worth the money if you are going to be on the beach all day and the towel in the sand gets uncomfortable, you need drinks, food and chairs . The public beach charges $70 for 2 chairs for 2 hours, i believe. The 360 excursion was $39.99 or $59.99 for the lunch and beverage for 2 for 4 hours. I will be doing this the next time lol

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

We didn't do an excursion but spent the day at the pool in Amber Cove after visiting the shops, there was no fee. You don't need to pay for a ride it is a short 5 minute walk from the ship. It has slides and zip lining, a swim up bar and food

Disembarkation

We had our luggage taken down the night before and was off of the ship by 9:15. The line was short and constantly moving. Took longer waiting on the shuttle then disembarking lol
