Our stay on the Magic was truly magical. I noticed and appreciated how every member of the crew greeted me as I passed them. I was truly touched by the honor shown to the military and service members aboard. I was proud to learn that this ship served as a military base for US troops providing humanitarian aid for people in the Caribbean after natural disasters. (I had actually wondered how our troops managed when they were in this position.) I loved every minute of my time aboard. Thank you!
Embarkation

A little chaotic, but generally moved well once people understood what to do.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Everything was amazing! I loved how well they took care of my sister who has food allergies. The chef created her a special dessert each night!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed to hot tub and dive in movies. The movies were fairly current and I actually got a chance to see a couple that I had missed in theaters at home.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Loved the pg comedy, 88 Keys (congrats on the engagement!) and the Rock & Roll show.
Children's Programs
I did not have children with me, but I did enjoy seeing the Seuss characters and their interaction with kids on the ship.
Service and Staff

Amazing crew, and I truly appreciate the sacrifice they make in being away from their families to serve the passengers. From our Steward, Anton, who decorated our cabin for my husband's birthday adding his own birthday wishes, to the bartender Tutu who recognized my husband and consistently was ready with a caffeine free diet coke with a twist of lime whenever she saw him coming. We kept the same dinner table and time for the whole cruse and so we had the same wait staff. Cudos to Luis, Marvin and Chrislee. After one night they anticipated our individual preferences and were ready and waiting for us. The dance lesson was just the icing on top.
Ship Quality

Don't really have much to compare it to, but it was lovely jubbley.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was smallish and could have used more outlets, but I was really expecting that, so no real disappointment there. The room was clean and seemed to be well maintained.
Ship tip
Bring an international adapter or 2 and an extension cord, especially if you have a C-pap machine.
We walked through the Fort and had lunch and a mojito at a local restaurant. A good day. A little saddened by the earthquakes that had been plaguing the island
Everything seemed to run fairly smoothly, but I would have liked to understand how it was going to work a little better beforehand. Also would have been better if my husband had not left his passport and a vest aboard the ship. I do appreciate the ship's crew retrieving his left items and getting everything to him.
So glad you had a wonderful time!! We're on the same cruise in 11 days. We love the Magic and can't wait to sail her again! You sound like such a friendly person so I'm happy you had a good cruise!!
I always love the Honoring of the Military. They do such a good job. And have never been on a ship where the staff was unfriendly. Love it all and cant wait for our cruise to begin.
