Ship was overall very clean. Te wait staff and room steward were exceptional. Even maintenance guy was happy. The best ship crew we ever had. We had anytime dining and the food was always hot when served. The ship is getting run down on stuff like carpets and she needs some paint really bad. But it was a great cruise and we enjoyed it very much. Bermuda was a great 2 day stop and Grandturk was alot of fun.
Embarkation

We are Platinumand it usually takes about 30 minutes. This time it took 8 minutes from the time we dropped off our luggage until we were on the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Only ate buffet for breakfast. Had 3 over easy every morning. Ate in MDR every night. Food was always hot and fresh every night. Only gave 4 stars because they forgot to refill our Tea and Coffee 2 times. But in their defense they were at full capacity almost as soon as they opened the doors. The BBQ was good as well as Guys and Blue Iguana. We aren't big drinkers but the drinks were good that we had. We don't buy the cheers package because it's frankly to expensive.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We went to the stage productions ,but they were having difficulties and weren't that good. The 88 Keys production was fantastic. The Hasbro game shows and love and Marriage show were highly entertaining. the 80's Rock and Glow was great along with other normal deck parties. Our main entertainment were the people (passengers) onboard. We don't do the comedy shows because todays comedians can't do respectful comedy.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Programs were great, but ship pitch and roll cut down on production activity. DJ's played good music. Violinists in lobby were fantastic. Dr.Suess characters came out every night and the children loved it(and some adults).

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I cannot express how good the crew members were. I don't just include our room steward and wait staff. I include the maintenance guys who fixed our balcony door and safe. The Captain made several walk around appearances, which I have never seen before in 13 cruises.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
I have never been a big fan of the Conquest style cruise ships. We prefer the Spirit class (Miracle and Legend). The ship was for the most part clean and presentable. Although the Magic just had a recent upgrade, She really needs a good face lift and some new carpeting and mattresses. When you got off elevators from deck 4 down it had some funky smells that made you want to stay on upper floors. The eating areas and public bathrooms were kept clean. The hot tubs were hit or miss on temps. We buy a lot of art from the Park west gallery and were very annoyed by how rude the head auctioneer was and never attended any auctions because of her.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was clean. Carpet may have been scene of murder. Mirror losing its backing and deep gouge in bathroom countertop. All the plumbing worked properly. The balcony door would not stay latch unless the deadbolt was engaged. Maintenance came the next morning and spent an hour fixing it. The guy was real nice and polite and really concerned about get it fixed. While he was there he also fixed the safe, took him about 5 minutes. Our room Steward and his assistant were always right there with any requests. They kept our room spotless and stocked with ice everyday.
Ship tip
It's your cruise so don't let the little things or the nay sayers get in your head. The food was great and the crew were phenominal.
Grand Turk is one of the most picturesque ports to sail into. We did the side by side Razor ATV and visited the lighthouse. Enjoyed the sites and got dirty and muddy.
We enjoyed the crystal caves tour and the Gossling sunset cruise on day 1. On day 2 went walking and shopping at the port. Then rode the ferry to Hamilton and back., very relaxing and enjoyable.
We elected to carry our luggage off due to short timeline to airport. As always there is the usual confusion with passengers who forget that no one can leave until cleared by customs. took us about 30 minutes to disembark.
