Overall it was an outstanding cruise with excellent amenities, outstanding staff and service and wonderful memories with friends and family. The ports of call left us wanting for more of the crystal blue waters of the southern Caribbean, but we were still thankful to be able to visit some new ports and see some new spots. Carpe diem!
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Much slower than in past years, and diverted to guest relations with hundreds of others due to lack of computer availability. Not a huge deal but delayed getting to the Fun.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food in the dining room and speciality restaurants was fantastic. Tasty, nicely presented and excellent service in the dining room. The buffet lines could be long at times, but you just need to plan your day to visit during the off times. Pig and Anchor on 5th deck was absolutely delicious, I could have eaten there 24/7.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The pools, exercise and sports zones were in great shape and provided hours of fun for the family. We did not do the ropes course this year but it was usually open with a short wait time for those braving it.
Entertainment
Did our own thing ;)
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All of the staff we encountered were polite, friendly and hardworking. They all went out of their way to make us feel special and like we are on vacation, and we appreciated their positive energy and friendly nature. Tipping and being polite with the bartenders did ensure you received subtly better and quicker service (I never had to request my drink after the first visit, the bartender knew my name and bevvy of choice.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and easy to navigate. The bathrooms were always clean and spotless.
Cabin / Stateroom

Excellent layout, cleanliness and overall feel. Enough room to store items.
Ship tip
On embarkation, skip the buffet and go to Pig and Anchor on the 5th deck (smoked meat and BBQ by food network celebrity chef Guy Fieri). It was outstanding, there was no line up, and I went up for seconds and thirds. It is on the outside of the ship so most people forget it’s there. A total hidden gem and especially handy after a long day getting on the ship.
Due to medical emergency we attended Key West. What a beautiful port, so well maintained and clean. Very “touristy” but what a cute and fun spot to stop.
It was a nice spot, and was very eye opening to the level poverty that exists here. I’m not sure I will cruise again with an itinerary that includes this location. Given the state of affairs here we did not feel safe anywhere outside of the port area, despite being on a cruise operated excursion.
Beautiful water, friendly people, this port (like all of them) is what you make it. People complain about being too commercialized, but it is still a fun and relatively safe area to enjoy lots of activities. From speaking with crew members they indicated this was one of the most visited ports for fun and functionality and safety.
Best one yet - make sure to take your own luggage first thing in the morning and you zip right off the ship. We we driving away 20 minutes after leaving our room. Very well organized, and early bird gets the worm on this one. Stick around st your own peril, people! Lines and tempers flare as the clock ticks.
