Main dining room was even more delicious than ever; steakhouse and specialty Italian restaurant were EXCELLENT. The most pleasant surprise of all was the food on the Lido buffet, which was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!

Got a wonderful massage at the Spa. Soaked up some much needed sunshine at the relaxing aft pool. Although, I wish that the aft pool were adults only!

Our wait staff in the Northern Lights Dining Room was absolutely the best we've ever had! Triana, Ayu and Venuh knew our names no matter where they saw us on the ship throughout the week! I was absolutely amazed by that. They went above and beyond to make every occasion we were celebrating on this cruise extra special! Our cabin steward's name is I Nyoman and he was so wonderful! My daughter had surprised me by decorating the stateroom on my 50th birthday, which I Nyoman took care of. He even wrote a personalized Happy Birthday message on the mirror and wished me a happy birthday when he saw me later that day. The waitstaff and room steward really made me feel so special!

The Magic is just a beautiful ship! Everything was immaculate everywhere we went. We liked it so much, we booked it again for next year!
Cabin / Stateroom

The Cove Balcony room was so spacious. We really loved the cove balcony because we were closer to the water, so the sound of the ocean was so relaxing. We also really, REALLY loved the fact that the life boats aided in shading our balcony, so not only was it very pleasant to sit out there no matter what time of day, but I felt like it also kept the stateroom a little cooler, which I really appreciated. While the galley was overhead, we rarely heard any noise at all from up above. This cabin connects to 2372, where my best friend and her husband were. He likes to have the TV kind of loud, but once the doors were both closed, I couldn't hear anything from their cabin.
Ship tip
If you don't like elevator music while you're laying in the sun, take some headphones and iPod for the aft pool! On sea days, get up early and get your spot by whatever pool you want to be close to, because the chairs fill up fast. We didn't get any sun the first sea day because we wasted time at brunch!
Went to Megan's Bay. Thought I was going to die on the taxi ride on the way there. Got Peanut's taxi on the return trip and he was AWESOME so find Peanut if you're going to taxi anywhere from the port!
We booked the Vivo Beach Resort excursion through Carnival. We did the one without lunch and I'm glad we did. Menu items were better than the buffet. It was a beautiful resort and we had a blast!
We didn't book an excursion, but I wish we had. The beach at the port is beautiful but very rocky and very tiny. Book an excursion to a beach somewhere away from the port. You won't regret it. The water is crystal clear!!!!
