Beautiful ship, great service lots of fun, but disasterus boarding and disembarkation
Embarkation
1 out of 5
For some reason they were 1 1/2 behind resulting in a nightmare in trying to get on the ship as people were still trying to get off...the line outside was over 40 minutes to just get inside the terminal. This resulted in many people not even getting to eat before the safety briefing and then the buffet lines and most food places were closed so we had to wait till dinner.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The choices were great, but most food in the buffets was cold and most in the dinning room was luke warm. Steakhouse was awesome as was Guys Burger's.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Plenty to do to keep you busy....as on all ships pools were packed on sea days but ok on port days.

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The cabin was very unique it had a normal bathroom with sink, toilet & shower then right next to it was another room with a sink & tub/shower.....great for larger parties sharing a room. The only complaint about our room was it never cooled down...many others we sat with complained about the same issue.
Ship tip
If you want to try the new Guys BBQ then do it early, not open everyday so check the Funtimes and get there early as the line was 30 minutes long.
Not much too do except enjoy the pool as no by foot access to the island, so if you want to see it make sure you book an excursion prior as unlike many where you can book something after you get there isn't possible on the port.
Grand Turk is our favorite stop...we have visited many times, so we don't book an excursion but the beach is right there with shade and some free umbrella's. It used be be on both sides of the port, but the right side is being rebuilt based on hurricane damage.
First let me say I think this is a Terminal issue not Carnival. As of 10:30 on the ship (when most people have already had their number called only those with tags 1-8 with their own luggage had been called. Now if you cruise you know that usually all numbers have been called. Finally the Cruise Director said everyone could disembark. Sure as they needed to get the ship ready for those coming aboard. This resulted in us getting off the actual ship but with lines up and down the 5 rows of gangway waiting to go down the escalators to the actual terminal. If that wasn't bad enough when we finally got to the escalators they were closed and they were letting 6-8 people at a time down one elevator. Then when you finally got to the terminal the lines was backed up so bad you could reach the area to get your luggage. Long story/short it took us until noon to just get off the ship. Next issue was outside was loaded with people trying to get on the ship and the road for drop-off/pickup was backed up for miles. Again, I think this was a terminal issue as for some reason our Terminal was changed the night before. We were suppose to go to Terminal D but they changed it to F causing issues for people who had parked at D and those that were being picked up or had flights, etc. Someone said they heard that this problem had been going on for the last 4 or 5 weeks. Miami needs to fix whatever the issue is
