It was good to get to these ports again and the people we met on the cruise were great. The ship was just a cheap hotel along the way.

The food in the buffet was not very good. Mostly same stuff every day. The Indian buffet was good. The coffee was the worst I have ever had on a cruise. I looked forward to the coffee but as almost everyone that tried it said it tasted like an old pot that had been sitting on the burner for hours. The dinning room was horrible. Some people got up and left in the middle of the meal. THe person next to me had a lobster served and the shell was still green.

Only saw the room steward for a total of 5 minutes the entire cruise. Told him how I would like the bed to be made and he must have forgot. Next day I had to call housekeeping to come fix the bed. (I like the bottom sheet tucked in so it is at least sort of tight.) The next day the sheet was tucked buy a wad of sheet was left at the bottom. Had to remake the bed. The rest of the time, I had to make up the bed because it was not worth trying anymore. Had excellent service in the Red Frog Pub and the Alchemy bars.

Had a problem with the cabin selection. This was the fault od . When I purchased the cruise, the sales person asked if I wanted a guaranteed cabin and I said yes. Only to find out that we got an obstructed view. The sales person did not tell me about this only that it was cheaper to select this option. Will never take that option again. May even have to check out another cruise company. We have used you for quite a while and was surprised by the sales person not mentioning the bad choice of cabins.

Ship tip

Go back to the old coffee from years past. Train the room stewards to listen to the passengers and serve better food on the buffet.

There are those that ate thankful for what they have. And those who can seek out problems. I am grateful i have the means to take this cruise. Even if it is taking me 15 months to pay for.

We are in cabin 9339 on the magic in oct. What is obstructing the view please? We were never told that this room has an obstructive view. Thanks.
