Review summary

variety of food same everyday. no chips or snacks offered. seemed cheap for price you pay. kids camp horrible. too short of stays at ports. workers seemed overworked and tired. not enough workers in dinning rooms. night time movies are old movies, nothing new.

no stimulating activities. children are told to sit and be quiet, vs playing and having fun. no last night party or presentation for parents of a play, singing, etc. workers rude to children. my grandkids hated to go there and eventually refused to go. that says a lot to me. It should be fun for them,

We were on the same cruise as you. My 8 year old daughter did miss snack food, so when we stopped in Puerto Rico I went in Walgreens and bought bags of chips like Doritos and Pringles. The 20 oz drinks are cheap there, and 2 liters are 1.39. I have sailed Carnival many times with my three kids who are now ages 8, 13, and 15, and they have never really enjoyed going to Camp Carnival. They’d rather be with us.

FYI reedspad: Next time you get on a Carnival ship remember that it’s Carnival’s policy that if you are not satisfied with their service, while your cruise is in progress, you can ask for your refund and Carnival will get you off the ship at the next port. Additionally, they will pay for your hotel and airfare back to your lonely home.

Doesn't look like this persons been on a cruise before from their history. Hmmmm. Maybe had wrong expectations and cruising is not for you. A cruise is not an all inclusive 5 star resort. Try one of those next next time.

Went on the Magic in July and all 7 of us had the best time ever. Food, service, movies, entertainment was top notch. Unfortunately, some people cant be pleased no matter what.

I have never been hungry on a ship. My so did purchase chips from the ships shop lol.

We were on the Magic on March and we had the best time! MDR food was very good, service in all areas was friendly and top notch. REV. Dr. E was unbelievable and the shows and movies were great. Sorry you had such a negative experience. I can't ant believe it changed that much since.

Who go on a cruise an look for chips but the do have the for room service just order everyday don't no how that could have spoiled the cruise

Just did the Magic a year ago. It changed my impression of Carnival - For The Better. We had a great cruise. Hard to believe it would turn south that quickly; but it did lose the CD Rev Dr. E. He was absolutely the best!!!!

We were on in may. No major issues at all. If you encounter any problems send John heald at book the face and it will be handled immediately don’t wait until you get off!
