Great if you get a balcony room. Research your excursion before you book it

Review summary

The cruise was fun, but the excursions were ok. The vip dolphin swim was great but the rest of them were not so great. I love that you can visit all the islands and grand Turk was definitely the prettiest island. If it wasn’t for our awful horseback excursion it would have been perfect. We will definitely do it again, and put a lot more research into the excursions we pick. We had 3 aft balcony rooms, it was awesome!

Jerry Casimir was our room steward. He was amazing and made the stay perfect for us every day. Carnival needs to realize the importance of the room steward and pay them more. Without Jerry I don’t think we would have as perfect as a stay. He is such a hard worker.

Go to Megan’s bay. It’s clean and ready for tourists coral world beach is just not ready. People smoking weed, broken glass, too many people in one place. Not relaxing!

Horseback swim is awful. If you love horses do not go here! They beat them and starve them. They are extremely malnourished and have awful living conditions. Horses are forced to swim fast in seaweed smelly water and inhale salt water. They also have to trip over giant shells, rocks, a nets on the beach. You only get about 20 mins of horseback and then wait on the beach the rest of the time while the others in your group swim. The feed them dead weeds. Not even hay! The horses did not have water, and you can see their hip bones and spines really bad. It’s literally a horrid sight! I will be contacting carnival for a full refund of this awful horrible excursion and demanding that they cancel it! Seeing the animals go through that was so very sad!
