Review summary

As I stated in the cabin comment, I requested 2 rooms when I booked the cruise. When we got onboard, we found that we only had 1 room. My wife and I and my 2 sons, 1 20 years old and the other 13 years old. We had to sleep in bunk beds. I had no alone time with my wife and we continued to trip over each other and our luggage. We had to come back to the room early every day so that we had enough time for everyone to take a shower and get ready for dinner. In the morning, everyone had to get up early so that we had enough time for everyone to get ready. Very disappointed with our cabin!!! We were considering booking another cruise, but I do not think we will. At least not with bookit.com. We do not want the same mistake to happen again.

There is NO WAY you could have not seen the cabin number and type of cabin with all the paperwork needed to board. If you thought you booked two “rooms” it would have had to be a two room suite at many, many thousands of dollars. I’m sure you would have noticed that.

Well look at like this...family time is priceless! I've done 4 adults in an inside and we had a great time. Try it again, I'm sure you won't make the same mistake twice.

Both cabin numbers would have been listed on your reservation documentation and during online checkin. How is that even possible?!?

If your paperwork showed 2 cabins, you would have gotten 2. When you did your check in on line pre-cruise, did you check in for 2 cabins? Also, when you set up your on board accounts did you set up 2 or at the least link the accounts? If the answers to those questions is NO, then you knew you only had 1 cabin before you even left.

Yea cannot even imagine how u didnt know u only had 1 room. We have cruises with our girls so there were 4 of us. Sure its small quarters but no problems steppin on each other or luggage. Sorry u did not enjoy ur family vacation

based on cost and your paperwork you should have known. this doesn't seem to be a cruise line error but an error on your part.

Agree with badlcho, surprised you gave four stars in your review

sopha    6 years ago

Did you pay for 2 rooms? Plus your paperwork would have said your cabin numbers. Unless you did "guarentee ". But price alone should have been a clue.

Puzzled how you didn’t know you only had 1 cabin. Next time book through Carnival website. It’s very clear when you book because the first question asked is how many cabins.

Texasmongoose    6 years ago

When got your booking info it should have told you how many cabins you had booked. Plus the pricing should have thrown up a red flag. 🇨🇱

Don't understand how you didn't know you only had one cabin. We always get confirmations immediately for our cruise purchases.

I know on carnival once you find a cruise the first thing it ask is how many cabins then how many guests is next....
