Review summary

I do have to say that this cruise was an Ultimate Slot Tournament cruise. There was most 900 people registered in this tournament so you can imagine how overcrowded and smoky the casino was. This was our 20th Carnival cruise and it was the worst one ever. I would never do another slot tournament cruise.....EVER.

Embarkation was not a problem. We have priority status so this is usually pretty good.

So disappointed in the MDR this cruise. Poor service and the good was terrible. Carnival has cut so many corners and it shows. After the first night took me til the third day to get our table changed. Then on the second night at our new table we were told that they had put us at the wrong table. The food on Lido was terrible also.

Onboard Activities

Same old stuff. Nothing new. Pools were overcrowded and the hot tubs taken over by children who the staff had to keep correcting.

The only good service we received was from our room steward. Always addressed us by name and cabin was kept in shape.
