Been on better!

The only thing I can say I enjoyed on he embarkment was the muster drill Dr E presented we had high hopes after hearing that we would have a great time. He was very funny!! But the luggage got to us kinda late so I had to unpack before we could explore the ship!

When you sign up for the Cheers package your limited 15 drinks that weren't very good... the crew was not fun or enlightening, just eh, they were there to work and not make short talk or be fun. One time apparently we hit our limit the waitress came to me after bringing me my drink and not saying anything other then "YOUR CUT OFF NOW" I'm like what? She says in a snarky tone, you don't get anymore and walked away. I didn't even have a buzz and I certainly don't think I had 15 drinks! But whatever it was the end of the night and the drinks sucked anyway. The main dining was awesome food, the waiter who didn't have much to do a few nights just stood in front of us and wanted to talk and talk and talk, which normally we don't mind but we also want to enjoy our dinner at times and talk to each other, it felt awkward to have him standing there listening in or just staring at us ... The good thing is the second we we're done they were on top of getting our next meals. Having dinner at 8:15pm was hard to make shows and other activities going on. So that was nice they fed us so quickly so we could go and try to have a good time. The Buffet was RIDICULOUS!!!! It was VERY small, HUGE lines to wait to get your food, literally took over a half an hour to an hour standing in line to eat the same breakfast they served over and over and over again. Had hair in some of my food which was disgusting.... Had to get your own coffee and juice which isn't a problem but when you have to stand in a line to get it and your food is getting cold it sucked. They should have the wait staff, offer the coffee and drinks to make things go by faster and have less crowding in and around the buffet. If you want an ice cream cone, well then you have to wait in line for that too. EVERY TIME! The burger bar and burrito bar we're very good and the sandwich bar was awesome too. The pizza bar was gross and not cooked if you like soggy crust you'll love it.

We only did the waterslide a few time and that was fun but did that on a port day so not many people were on the ship. The pool forget it, to many kids screaming and splashing having a great time but no room or nor did I want to sit and have a drink and visit with other guests with all the splashing. At one point we had to leave it was so annoying. One side of the ship should be for kids and the other side should be adults only but thats not the case. If you want a drink around the pool, well you should get it yourself cuz it takes FOREVER to get it or they walk right by you without asking if you want anything. We did have fun with the mini golf, and ping pong, pool and the zip line thingy. I also worked out in the fitness center, they had NO fans so it was extremely hot in there... no place for someone to do your own cardio mix had to pick a spot in the corner of the fitness center away from the guys doing weights, so I could do my routine with out being in their way... no one watching others when they were done with the equipment, saw a guy use his sweaty rag and wipe his seat down and press... GROSS. Running on a treadmill is not my cup of tea when the ship is in motion. But that was me. I did run the track outside and that was nice with the sunrise!

The ONLY thing that was great was the comedy and 1 magic show. They only offered 2 shows and they sucked so bad we had to leave! We went to a country show and ended up leaving it was so lame, and the show they were supposed to do one night was pretty much canceled because of the ship was too rocky (which we totally understood)... so they did some lame music thing... we left that one too! If you like overdramatic musicals you'll love it. The BEST person on the ship was Dr E. that's it, but from the sounds of it he's not going to be on the magic again... he was funny an he made it lively but it was the same stuff just different music a few nights ... We did do almost everything thing they had to offer, the scavenger hunt was fun, the bring your items to the game and doing silly stuff was a BLAST. Bingo the lady was the most annoying person on the ship and we never went back to another cuz of her. We did do her Latino dance class that was fun, Mainly cuz she didn't talk much! hahah But during port days, there was absolutely NOTHING to do till evening. And even that was very slim picking... Patrick at the piano bar was good too, he was super funny but if you want to sit by the piano forget it unless you show up 2 hours early.

Everyone was nice and had a smile on their face in the halls. Bartenders like I said above we're just there to do their job, no one talked or made it fun. Our wait staff I mentioned above too at the dinner kinda awaked but we're ok. And the rest well we had to flag them down and wait a half hour to get drinks. Brian our steward was very nice and we liked him but didn't see him much other then a pass by in the hall and small talk.

Things were falling apart or we're dirty and felt like a very very very cheap cruise line! We had a waitress spill our drink and no one came to clean it up while we were there. Some of the air dryers in the bathrooms didn't work. And having tissues on the back side of the door is a nice touch but why waist so much of that when you could just use paper towels then open the doors with them, then toss... plus the tissues stuck your hands most of the time cuz the air dryers sucked. Some areas of the ship looked nice but the carpet was dirty throughout the place. I was not impressed what so ever! Most of the time we froze too with the air on way to high.

The deck was small and dirty with salt on it from the sea air, I hated not having a sliding door. The toothpaste left in the sink when we arrived was gross. Old and dirty carpet! Brain did a good job making the bed and replacing towels and made our cute little town animals. But other then that nothing exciting about our cabin at all. The balcony was full of salt too and very very small!

Couldn't wait to get off! And we went with GoPort to bring us back to the airport and we got to take our luggage off with us so, no standing in a terrible long line to search for our bags. It was simple!
