Review summary

First off let me say that for being a first time cruiser and with my family of 5 (wife and 3 girls) staying in a ocean view room on the first floor of the Carnival Magic ship, this vacation surpassed every expectation I had imagined. Our cruise director Schwartz made this vacation one can only dream of. Schwartz was very energetic and it appeared as though he was everywhere at once! We had so much fun on this ship and the Southern Carribean itinerary was amazing. Our girls are ages 6, 11 and 17 and I can honestly say I haven't seen them smile this much all together. I can hardly wait to go back again next year and we are going on this same exact ship! The only concern I had is with the people who I found complaining or unhappy on the ship. I guess my idea of vacation, relaxing and just having a good time is a much different perspective. I felt myself saying "just relax". its a shame when others get so uptight about the smallest things. The ship was beautiful, the staff was amazing and food was great. Schwartz interacted with my girls and our waiter Sigit almost made my youngest daughter shed a tear when we had to leave the last day. Theres something to be said when somone such as a staff member can make that great of a connection with our child. it was a very special trip and one to remember. Thank you carnival and all the great staff aboard the magic ship. its truly magical!
