Review summary
There were 14 of us that went on this cruise, so the best part was the family time that was shared. However, our overall experience with Carnival and its crew members was horrible. The crew onboard was very rude with the exception of a few people. The comments that were made to the kids were not acceptable. We purchased a shore excursion after being assured multiple times that my 5 year old niece could participate and the day of, we found out she could not and they still charged over $200 for the observation portion, which was not what they were looking forward to! Also, there was some unfair treatment that I refuse to go into detail about. The food was horrible and several of the restaurants opened and closed while we were off the ship, so we did not get to enjoy those. Overall it just seemed to be one thing after another which prevented us from enjoying the trip as a whole.
