Review summary

there were no favorites to this cruise and very unhappy of seating for dinner. in a cubicle over anytime dining next to a hallway. Left feeling like a second rate cruiser. Won't be cruising again for awhile .Mostly poor service all around.

Food is usually excellent on Carnival this cruise it was mediocre. We always take early dining and are seated in the Aft main 6pm dining room. We were placed on an upper level of anytime dining in a cubicle by a hallway. Very unsatisfactory! Asked for a change for our being Platinum guests and was not given.

music was geared more to heavy rock of the 70-80's,Extremely loud and lights flashing in your eyes. Not the good variety we are used to. Entertainers were not the talent we expected.

Our dining staff was excellent but our cabin person was very lax, waste baskets un emptied, dirty glasses not removed, Even forgot to give us the customs slip or Brkfst times last day. Not the usual very friendly type we see.

Ship tip

would not sail on the Magic again. We have has 23 cruises with Carnival and this was not a Magic Cruise! Guest services would not even help us get our flight boarding pass unless we paid $16. Did not receive our final billing statement!
