Review summary

The Carnival Magic is a very long ship, not as wide as other ships.  You will get a lot of exercise on the ship.  The pool areas are smaller than other ships.  There are a lot of areas to just sit and listen to live music.  The steakhouse was amazing!  They just kept bringing out food all for $35.00 it was well worth it.  There is a BBQ place on board that does not cost anything extra.  It was very good.  There are several hot tubs and a lot of people can fit comfortably.  This ship is not luxurious, it is comfortable, homey.
