Review summary

The best part of this trip was renewing my vows with my husband and swimming with the dolphins in Cozumel. Unfortunately,  we missed Belize due to a tropical storm. I  feel that we should have had 2 days in Cozumel to replace the day we lost in Belize or something. I understand weather has issues but when you spend a fortune on your dream vacation and the captain just has a day on water, really doesn't leave a sweet taste in my mouth. We originally planned to renew our vows on the beach in Belize.

The pull down bed was very slanted and very uncomfortable.

Ship tip

When you enter your cabin, be sure to leave your key in the slot so the lights will stay on.

I loved shopping in Belize at the tender port area. Nice to spend a little time there and back to enjoy a less crowded ship.

We were just in Belize in April and just walked around and shopped and got something to eat and had a good time. It is a third world country and so not sure what you expected it to be but we had a great time and just didn't go out of the safe area. Your vacation is what you make it and if all you want to do is complain then maybe you should stay home where you feel safe.

I have been to Belize twice and if you don't book an excursion you might as well stay on the ship.  Belize city is crime ridden, beggars haven of a dump.

Worse things happen, I've have the entire itinerary change due to weather. Believe it or not, that ended up being the greatest cruise.

It's possible that the reason the captain didn't do two days in Cozumel is because another ship was scheduled to be docked there- plain and simple!!!

Instead of complaing be glad that the captain got you out of harms way. Your vacation is what you make it and things happen and you have to adjust and go with the flow.
